FAO - the food and agricultural organization of the united nations 

CSO - the central statistical office (Trinidad and Tobago)

Ministry of Health (nutrition and metabolism division) 

Central Bank (of Trinidad and Tobago)

These sources provide data on the monetary value of imported and locally produced food. they also provide production and importation volumes for the food items. 

The data gathered by these organizations allow researchers to analyze trends in the market and allow for more accurate solutions to problems to be made.
